Crome2Phone in the Clouds… Google’s Voice Controlled Mobile Future

I have been getting really excited over the new mobile technology that seems to be coming out faster then I can keep up with it.  Last week it was Firefox Home for the iPhone and this week it is, my personal favorite, Chrome2Phone for the Android.  Now at first glance I thought they were the same application for different phones because they both are accessed through Google’s mobile platform, the Cloud.  True as this may be… soon I discovered what sets these two applications apart.

Is Social Media Marketing Dangerous?

I hear this once in a while. Odd but true . In fact I am convinced that the only danger there is in Social Media Marketing is to NOT be involved in using it!

There are many theories about your brain getting fried because of the Social networking. Or Losing your sanity because you are obsessively connected to your devices… Phones, Laptops and tablets.

I don’t think it’s true outside the foolishness of texting while driving.

If you have wondered how much Google knows about you, here is a (humorous) solution: The Google Alarm Firefox Add-on.

Google Alarm can both visually and audibly notify you every time you send data to Google’s servers, and it isn’t just from Youtube or Gmail.  It could be from any site that uses Google Analytics, Google AdSense, embedded Youtube videos, etc.  You’ll be suprised!

Why YouTube Should Have a Business & Finance Category

YouTube is missing a huge marketing opportunity with no category for Business & Finance.  It is hard to believe that the categories of  Education and Travel & Events could be in more demand, particularly into today’s economic environ. YouTube needs to offer at least a category of small business resources. Additionally such a category would direct entrepreneurs to find opportunities to learn new and more effective ways of doing or even starting a business, as well as helping consumers to find access to products that they could purchase, that would in turn help them with their financial needs or questions.

Now available at TestTube (Youtube’s place to test new features), you can now edit your Youtube videos on their website!

You don’t have to install anything – just go to their site and you can:

  • Combine multiple videos into one longer video
  • You can trim the beginning or end of it.
  • Add soundtracks
  • Create new videos and publish them to YouTube without having to upload anything
