While new Google Apps users will already have access to Google Apps new infrastructure, existing users will be able to switch over with in the next few months. On top of that they are also changing the names of some older, more familiar apps like the premier and government editions now simply being called Google Apps for Business and Google Apps for Government, ect.

Just like every Tuesday, I will today be covering a new Google feature: The search engine just rolled out its Instant Preview feature, which allows you to preview a page right from the SERPS, by clicking a magnificent glass located on the right of each listing. While this isn’t a groundbreaking move, as I remember several minor search engines boosting a similar feature years ago, this is certainly a useful addition that allows users to save some time on clicking back and forth.

I guess there isn’t one week without Google rolling out a new feature. Starting this week, you should start seeing links for Brands, Stores and Types at the top of your search result page when looking for a product.
For example, if you’re looking for a digital camera, you can see 5 links for camera brands, 5 links for stores where you can buy cameras and 5 links for popular types of digital cameras (waterproof, compact, etc …).

Google just renamed its Google Suggest instant functionality Google Autocomplete. While this is far from being a groundbreaking announcement, I just wanted to take that opportunity to warn you about an issue occurring with Autocomplete.

Love love love the iPad and the idea of taking a computer the size of a notebook, anywhere and everywhere with me.
Android 3.0 Tablet… I am almost certain I will love even more. Now I am sure the preference of the two comes down to each individuals needs but I think the Android’s apps are far superior to that of the iPhone. They seem so much more interactive and alive compared to the iPhones ability to simply mimic a web browser. Now as I can’t say for sure that the Android 3.0 Tablet will reign supreme over the iPad because I don’t really know what they will be targeting to set them apart.

I have been getting really excited over the new mobile technology that seems to be coming out faster then I can keep up with it. Last week it was Firefox Home for the iPhone and this week it is, my personal favorite, Chrome2Phone for the Android. Now at first glance I thought they were the same application for different phones because they both are accessed through Google’s mobile platform, the Cloud. True as this may be… soon I discovered what sets these two applications apart.

Google just announced it acquired Metaweb. Metaweb is a huge database offering a wide source of content that can be delivered to websites through a platform – according to their website they have “information on over 11 million things, including movies, books, TV shows, celebrities, locations, companies and more”.
With the google integration, it now means that, depending on the question you might type in Google’s search field, you might now get the answer directly, at the top of the page.
