It seems that Bing has been pretty busy lately as there hasn’t been one week without some kind of announcement coming from MSN’s labs. This week, they launched a new new feature called People Recommendations that can be found in Bing Social (as you might suspect this is the section where Bing focuses on social media results).

I hear this once in a while. Odd but true . In fact I am convinced that the only danger there is in Social Media Marketing is to NOT be involved in using it!
There are many theories about your brain getting fried because of the Social networking. Or Losing your sanity because you are obsessively connected to your devices… Phones, Laptops and tablets.
I don’t think it’s true outside the foolishness of texting while driving.

Twitter tips anyone? So I have been trying to crack the code of how to get more followers on Twitter and in my attempt have noticed some helpful tips. Now before I get ahead of myself I want to clarify one thing, Twitter should not be used to replace other social networks as it has it’s pros and cons just like all the rest. Used additionally to your current make up of social media networks is where you will really start to see the benefit.

If you follow the latest online buzz, you might have read here and there rumors about Google Me, whi
ch is supposed to be Google’s answer to Facebook. Facebook being the only giant able to compete with the leading search engine — a couple months ago, for the first time Facebook passed Google in terms of visitors — it isn’t surprising that Google might want to take a bite out of the social market. Of course, nothing is sure yet, but every day somebody seems to come out from the bushes to confirm this is true.

Best Buy http://www.bestbuy.com/is a major brand whose brand marketing most definitely includes social media marketing.
Brad Smith, Director, Interactive Marketing & Emerging Media from Best Buy opened things up talking about a “new marketing reality”. Customers are out there, but they’re bombarded with messages. Customers are not listening to us (marketers & advertisers) anymore. Social media is all about communicating. Customers are listening to each other instead and tuning out marketing messages.
